The Bureau of Foreign Trade, MOEA commissioned the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA) to form the Taiwan & Lithuania Business Club.
The Club, officially launched on Sep 15, 2022, will focus on both countries’ areas of mutual interests: laser technology, semiconductor, biotechnology, smart technology, and finance. It will act as a platform for Taiwan and Lithuania enterprises to promote industrial cooperation and strengthen economic ties.
Lithuanian Vice Minister of Economy and Innovation, Karolis Zemaitis, led a trade delegation of Lithuanian business representatives to Taiwan and attended the event. Over 100 representatives from Taiwan’s business community also attended the event.
Business representatives from the Lithuanian Laser Association, Lithuanian Biotechnology Association, Export-Import Bank of the Republic of China (Eximbank), and Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists all delivered greetings during the event and eagerly shared business experiences with each other.
