In response to global supply chain restructuring and the rise of AI, the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has promoted AI and 5G transformation for SMEs in 2025, training 4,100 AI professionals, supporting 2,500 companies in adopting AI, and enabling 8,700 SMEs to validate 5G applications, generating over NT$23.7 billion in industrial value. "SME Digital Transformation and Innovation Exchange Conference" held on December 24 showcased successful applications in manufacturing and services, attracting more than 500 participants. The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration (SMEA) noted that practical tools and application scenarios are key to SME transformation. Through the SME revitalization program, the government provides digital learning, industry training, and expert guidance, while recognizing benchmark enterprises to encourage broader SME participation in digital transformation.
